Justin Bieber's New Tattoo: See His Giant Rose Leg Ink

Adding to his eight existing tattoos, Justin Bieber debuted his newest artwork via Twitter Dec. 31: roses on his left leg, situated next to a massive set of praying hands.

"New tat," the 18-year-old "Boyfriend" singer posted on Instagram. Also over the long New Year's Eve holiday weekend, Bieber posted shirtless pictures taken in an undisclosed location. "Vacay," Bieber wrote in one image, which shows off his crown tattoo on his chest and the word "Believe" on his left forearm.
Many of the singer's tattoos have religious significance, including one on his ribcage that reads "Yeshua," which means "Jesus" in Hebrew. He also inked a portrait of Jesus wearing a crown of thorns on his leg.

Bieber wasn't the only celeb to unveil new ink over the holiday weekend. Ahead of her gig hosting MTV's New Year's Eve bash live from Times Square, new mom Snooki tweeted about her "fierce leopard tattoo."

"I wanted to get this because to me it represents being a strong independent woman, and obviously I love leopards/leopard print! The crown represents being a queen and being fabulous, and the wings represent everyone who has passed in my family," Snooki -- who got inked when she shot the Jersey Shore reunion -- wrote on her Celebuzz blog. "Anytime I can incorporate my loved ones who have passed, I do it!"

Read your love horoscope for 2013: Dating under the stars in 2013

Read your love horoscope for 2013 (Thinkstock)
Feeling starry-eyed about love? Find your astrological sign in our list below to get your romantic forecast for 2013 — including a one-word description of your dating personality over the next 12 months:
Dating under the stars in 2013
Aries: Winning
You’re a flirty socializer on a mission during the first half of 2013. Uranus may toss you a few sudden, impractical relationships here and there, but you’re more likely to settle into your sofa with a romantic companion after Jupiter plops itself into Cancer in July. Contrary to your natural impulses, Saturn will make you very well-behaved — yes, you’re going to be nice this year!

Taurus: Charismatic
Absorbed as you are by money, work and living the good life, matters of partnership insist on grabbing your attention this year. You can’t buy your way out of trouble, either — and your old, reliable methods of distraction simply won’t work. Step up and embrace your feelings by trading stubborn habits for romantic impulses. With Jupiter’s move into Cancer during the second half of the year, your light touch will melt just about any heart you encounter.

Gemini: Captivating
A sluggish January will give way to a race toward glory — if you’re prepared to claim your prizes, that is. The final lap of expansion ends in July as Jupiter jumps from Gemini into Cancer, which is when your attention-deficit dating pattern transforms into a series of cozy, tactile flirtations fraught with meaning. Saturn in your house of discipline and routine will keep you in line, so remember: The word is honor, and the prize is love!

Cancer: Thrilling
Since you’re always one to bide your time, 2013 begins with premonitions of fulfillment and ends with a very real possibility of finding The One. Jupiter glides from your house of intuition into your house of new realities right around your birthday this year. The best presents to come include opening yourself up to new love and light. Saturn’s seat in Scorpio gives you the steady, capable energy needed to manifest a dream come true. Give up your mothering/smothering ways and take up romance instead — after all, it’s way more fun for everyone.

Leo: Profound
The deeper side of life beckons in 2013. Early in the year you toy with your love interests, basking in their attention and semi-earnest bids for your heart. As the year progresses, however, Saturn will move more insistently into Scorpio and Jupiter will get cozied up in Cancer, making your appetite for variety fade. The desire to find The One will be a new sensation for you — and you’ll find it to be a journey that you really enjoy, you lucky Leo! There’s a real possibility for big love to come into your life this year — the only question is: Are you ready?

Virgo: Intriguing
With an answer for every problem, you’re usually very busy sorting out everyone else’s life. But being preoccupied like this is no excuse for lacking a love life of your own, and this is the main lesson you need to learn in 2013. While work demands far too much of your brain power, Jupiter’s move into Cancer this summer places the needs of the heart above your intellectual demands. Date for pleasure in the first half of the year (let’s face it, you need it!), and then consider serious romantic options as they crop up closer to your birthday. With Jupiter in your house of hopes and wishes this year, you’ll have no choice but to explore love and joy. Yes, that means you!

Libra: Magnetic
If you could be paid to develop love interests, you’d be very rich indeed. But Saturn in Scorpio is stomping around money matters this year, and that means work, responsibility, and sharp-shooting problems will take priority. Jupiter in Gemini provides ample opportunity for adventure during the first six months of the year, so you won’t be without admirers. Jupiter’s shift into Cancer this summer makes you a very high-profile person of interest. This all means that you don’t have to actually work at finding love in 2013 — rather, it’ll come to you. Do your best, be kind, and enjoy life’s surprises as they appear one by one.

Scorpio: Undeniable
Feeling intense, passionate — and maybe a little bit worried? The universe is working on an upgrade for your life, and it isn’t possible for you to opt out this time. Saturn’s in your sign this year, urging you to be productive in all aspects of your life. For love, it’s doing the right thing: No shortcuts, no fibs, and no sneaking around (if you’ve been guilty of doing so in the past) — it’s serious stuff. Luckily, Jupiter in Gemini gives you lots of opportunities to flirt and experiment with what works best for you, and it will be clear when things don’t work. New adventures beckon in the second half of the year, so date with an open mind and love with an open heart.

Sagittarius: Nimble
Saturn in your house of whispers might make you a bit paranoid — possibly due to the untamed energy of your ruler, Jupiter, in your house of partnership, which encourages many romantic prospects to pursue you at once. Feeling guilty about juggling dates or not following through on your affections? That short attention span of yours should settle down this summer when Jupiter moves into Cancer. By then, you’ll be craving someone to explore the world with and more serious love interests will come into focus. Until then, be good — that way, you won’t be guilty.

Capricorn: Motivated
Getting what you want is normal for you, and working hard, taking on more responsibilities, and getting things done have usually paid off. Love, though, hasn’t always been so easy for you. You’ve been driven to work even harder as Jupiter has rested in Gemini, but when it arrives in Cancer mid-summer, your partnership prospects and romantic escapades will be rejuvenated. Saturn in your house of wish fulfilment takes itself very seriously, so stop working 24/7. It’s time for you to play, flirt, date and interview your potential mates — that’s what 2013 is all about.

Aquarius: Energetic
Career issues are vying for your attention, but Cupid’s sending haphazard, unpredictable arrows that are impossible for you to dodge. Give in to Jupiter’s lucky sprint through your house of romance during the first half of the year. You’re likely to discover significant love interests just as the planets shift back into a more serious work focus for your life overall. The challenge is finding the right work-love balance — it’s a fun game for you to play, as long as love comes first on your list.

Pisces: Dynamic
As the most romantic sign of all, you’re prone to having extreme expectations when it comes to love. The first half of this year is about you getting serious — what do you really want for yourself? Date as much as you can to find out, because this summer will bring on a one-year wave of ardent love interests. Be prepared to consider some serious relationship prospects — but your rose-colored glasses must stay in your pocket, not on your nose, if you want to be successful. For you, clarity is key in 2013.

Andy Reid will meet with Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday, could be their head coach by the end of the week

As first reported by Phoenix station KTVK-TV and confirmed by several NFL insiders, former Philadelphia Eagles head coach could replace Ken Whisenhunt as the Arizona Cardinals' head coach as early as the end of the week. Both Reid and Whisenhunt were fired on Monday.
ESPN's Adam Schefter cited team and league sources in following up that first report, and CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora is hearing very much the same thing. One source told Schefter that he's "95 percent" certain that Reid will get the job. La Canfora reported on Tuesday evening via Twitter that Reid will officially interview with the Cardinals on Wednesday.
According to Schefter, the Cardinals are trying to fast-track the process. Cardinals VP of media operations Mark Dalton said on Twitter that current defensive coordinator Ray Horton interviewed for the position on Tuesday, and that the Cards might also talk with Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy. Though Horton's defense was the team's lone bright spot in 2012, and he may be in line for one or more open positions around the league, it's worth noting that the interview will also keep the franchise on the right side of the Rooney Rule.
[Related: Andy Reid's firing ends era for longtime coaches, patient owners]
La Canfora also reports that Reid, who was a bit of a lame duck through most of the Eagles' 4-12 campaign, has already reached out to several people and may be close to assembling a full staff. In addition to retaining Horton, which Reid should most definitely do if he is able, Reid may reunite with former Eagles personnel man and recently fired Cleveland Browns general manager Tom Heckert, who would replace fired Cards GM Rod Graves. In addition, Reid could add ex-Browns head coach Pat Shurmur, former Eagles offensive and defensive assistant Juan Castillo, and former Eagles assistant and Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress.
If Reid gets the job, the most obvious concern would be the quarterback position, which was once again a complete and total disaster for the Cardinals in 2012. Kevin Kolb, who thrived in a relative sense under Reid in Philadelphia, was injured most of the season, and his replacements provided little to nothing of value. With sketchy talent in the draft and free agency at the position, Reid may try to see if he can save Kolb's career. Kolb was drafted in the second round by the Eagles in 2007, and he played well enough as a backup and spot starter to have the Cardinals on point to trade serious chips for him in trade, and then sign him to a six-year, $63 million contract in July of 2011.
Cardinals team president Michael Bidwill said on Monday that he's not ready to give up on Kolb after two disappointing seasons, and that this will most certainly influence the franchise's decision at head coach.
“That’s one of the questions we will really focus on with the coaching staff candidates,” Bidwill said. “How do we see about Kevin and his performance and how we can turn him into the quarterback of the future here for the Cardinals and make that decision, if he is the right guy?”
Reid thought that Kolb was the right guy in 2007, and he certainly got value from the trade in which the Eagles got a second-round pick and starting cornerback Dominique Rogers-Cromartie in return.
Reid was hired by the Eagles in 1999 and posted a 130-93-1 record in the regular season. He was 10-9 in the postseason.

January’s best shopping deals: What to buy in January for a steal

(Photo: macys/com)

Welcome to January 2013. Last year’s gift season is over. The Super Bowl is coming, as is Valentine’s Day. Resolutions are still fresh and possible. Anything can happen in a new year, especially when it comes to bargain hunting. Here’s a chance to get started on the ground floor.
Some say January is a slow month for sales, but the hardcore shoppers know this is the time to come out and play.
1. Winter Clothes
Major department stores are the best places to look for great deals on winter styles they’re looking to push out the door. They’re making room for spring and summer items, so this is the time to strike for coats and winter accessories such as hats and gloves. Same for sweaters, winter shoes and other cold weather items. Some of these items may be last year’s style, so that may stifle the fashion-forward folks out there. However, classic looks never go out of style. Keep that in mind when hunting down the deals.

(Photo: zappos.com)2. Swimwear

Swimwear? In January? Yes, this is a great time to buy swimwear. Retailers need to move any lingering items from the recent summer season that's left on the shelves. You’ll even see some advanced hype for the upcoming season and styles. And here’s a great incentive for you to get and stay fit for swimwear season: Buy the swimwear now, and stay mindful of it all year.

(Photo: Sony)3. HDTVs/Home Theater

You have two things going for you when it comes to shopping for TVs and home theater systems in January. One, the Super Bowl is around the corner and retailers want to make sure you can see and hear the action in shattering definition and decibels. Two, the new models are also on their way. Retailers need that shelf space.
Finding a quality HDTV or home theater system is easy. You can research prices and performance online before you buy. But remember to stick to your guns and not be swayed by deals that are too good to be true. Few items carry such a high risk for buyer’s remorse.
Finally, don’t be afraid to ask for what you want. Retailers have more wiggle room on TVs and accessories than you might think. It can’t hurt to ask.

(Photo: biglots.com)4. Furniture

If you work in a furniture store, January is a lonely month. Since it is typically a sluggish time for sales, retailers are willing to make deals to make room for their spring and summer collections. As mentioned above, classic lines never go out of style. And just like when shopping for electronics, be ready to haggle. Most furniture salespeople expect haggling from customers since the markup on furniture is notoriously high.

(Photo: kettlerusa.com)5. Fitness equipment
This category also includes fitness DVDs and gym memberships. January is when we all decide to craft a Wolverine body out of our bloated, post-holiday buffet selves. Gyms are still reeling from the recession, so their aim is to entice you with low monthly fees, free membership, and reduced or free access to trainers and classes.
If you want a home gym, look at it as a lifetime investment for your family. If you stick with it, the upfront cost will pale in comparison to a lifetime of gym membership fees.
Finally, frugal shoppers may want to look to online auction and sales sites to buy equipment that has been forsaken by owners who gave up the fitness fight.

6. Holiday giftwrap
So this one is pretty obvious – and not very exciting – but you’ll be glad you did it once the holidays roll around again. From wrapping paper to bags and bows, this is the time to buy. Look for deals on tape and packing materials as well. Purchase and pack up all your wrapping needs, put them away until the holidays and you’ll be way ahead of the game next winter.
(Photo: ubisoft)7. Video games
Unless you absolutely have to have it, you should never pay full price for a video game. There are always great games on the market. If they’re a few months old but you’ve never played them, then they’re new to you. And they’ll cost a lot less than the $60 brand new sticker price.
January – especially mid-January – is a good time to hunt for games because the popular games people got for Christmas are probably in the used bin by now. Major retailers and game stores have great deals, but you might be better off visiting an online site such as Glyde.com, which makes it as easy as possible to buy and sell games.
(Photo: aliexpress.com)8. Toys

If there is a category of retailer that is particularly overstocked in January it’s toy stores. Prices on toys they gambled on that didn’t sell are now slashed and the toys they couldn’t keep in stock during the holidays are likely on the shelves. Now is the time to stock up on gifts for birthdays and special events that you’ll need throughout the year. If you’re worried about being timely or gender appropriate, stick to board games, puzzles and classic toys that don’t go out of style.
(Photo: beddingdowncomforters.com)9. Linens
It’s the right time for “white sales” on linens such as sheets, blankets and towels. Look for deep discounts at major stores such as Macy’s and J.C. Penney who are keeping with the tradition of white sales, which began in 1878 by Philadelphia department store owner John Wannamaker. It also seems that these sales are getting better each year, which means this could be the best January yet to buy your spring linens and lightweight comforters early.
(Photo: biglots.com)10. Home Décor
For many people a new year means a clean slate, a time to start fresh inside and out. Inspiration may strike while you’re taking down your Christmas decorations and putting your house back together after the onslaught of family members who forced you to rearrange everything to accommodate them for gatherings or extended visits.
Take a look around. If there’s something you want to change, chances are it’s on sale. This is especially true for stores popular with wedding registries. Keep that in mind if anyone you know got engaged for Christmas.

Armed robbers hit Paris Apple store

Armed robbers hit Paris Apple store

PARIS (Reuters) - Armed robbers targeted an Apple Inc store in central Paris on New Year's Eve, taking thousands of euros (dollars) worth of goods, a police official said on Tuesday.
The robbery took place at about 9 p.m. (1900 GMT) on Monday, three hours after closing time at one of Apple's flagship stores behind the Paris Opera which sells products ranging from iPhones and iPads to Mac computers.
The police official declined to comment on reports the thieves walked away with about 1 million euros (($1.32 million) of loot, saying the company was still evaluating the loss.
Christophe Crepin from the police union UNSA told reporters four masked and armed individuals forced their way into the shop and afterwards escaped in a van.
"They were well prepared. As the majority of police were busy watching the Champs Elysees (for New Year's Eve celebrations), the robbers took advantage of this opportunity," he said.
