More terrible Tim Tebow news: Now he’s broken up with his girlfriend, too

Here's a sentence we never thought we'd be typing a year ago: It kinda sucks to be Tim Tebow right now.
Soon after news broke that Jets head coach Rex Ryan would pass over Tebow for the starting quarterback slot and that he might be sent packing, reports surfaced that Tebow has broken up with his girlfriend, Camilla Belle.
"It just didn't work out," a "source" told US Weekly. Yep, it's true: No love for Tebow anywhere these days.
Those of you keeping track of such things: Tebow and Belle, an actress, met at a Metropolitan Museum of Art gala (pictured above) in May, and in October were spotted together at a Jacksonville bowling alley being affectionate. And now? Finis. But, hey, at least they won't have to buy Christmas presents for each other.
Look, pretty much everyone either reveres or goofs on Tebow, and almost none of it is truly his fault. Sure, he's pretty lame, as starting quarterbacks in the NFL go, but he seems to be a genuinely decent cat. People most likely hate him so much because certain outlets praised him beyond all reason, not because he's an inherently bad guy. And with his on-field options narrowing and the Tebow Hype Machine finally starting to rattle, hopefully the guy can go boldly on to the next phase of his life and become the most famous missionary in human history.
