SRK has had an eventful 2012. Earlier this year, we wondered if he was going through an emotional downfall. The slap-gate incident with the Mumbai cops, and the overgrown facial hair, the dishevelled clothing and the rampant slur in his voice, got us all thinking this was the beginning of the end.
But SRK being SRK rose to the task, got himself a good shave, gave up his tattered jeans and ant-eaten T-shirts, wore a suit, and became his dashing self again.
Whether it was the disgrace of Ra.One that caused his downfall, or the release of his up and coming new film Jab Tak Hai Jaan that renewed his vigour for life and consequently, style, is something only SRK can asnwer. But we are happy to see the very stylish Shahrukh Khan steal the hearts of women, age 8 to 80, once again.
Much like his wife Gauri Khan, Shahrukh has a very distinguished sense of style. Maybe it is the wife's effort that has given him the title of best dressed for some time. Shahrukh has consistently allowed his female fans to a bit of ARK eye-candy, with his crisply tailored suits, and cool style that does not scream 'loud'.
His fashion sense, much like his personality, is charming and pleasing to the eye. He knows he is not 20 any longer, and dresses according to his age. That is probably one of the reasons his fans remain loyal to him.
